International Cooperation Platforms

The international joint research center for resilient infrastructure (ICRI) is based in Tongji University andjointly established by several famous universities and institutions around the world. The joint research center has the participation and support of top international scholars in engineering system resilience, from China, Hong Kong, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Greece, Singapore and other countries and regions. The board member of the ICRI include fellows of the Chinese Academy of Science and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, fellows of the Academy of Science and Engineering of theUnited States, Canada, Europe, and other countries and regions. Aiming at the resilience of different types of infrastructures and facilities, the ICRI is comprised of different disciplines, including network systems engineering, bridge and structural engineering, geotechnical and tunnel engineering, slope geological engineering, road and transportation engineering, etc., and shall systematically carry out research on theories and technologies related to resilient infrastructure, hold academic exchange activities regularly, review the research progress, write codes and standards, and cultivate the world-class talent in resilient infrastructure.
