Foreign exchange

Research Group led by Prof. Jiang Mingjing joined Marie Curie Actions - an EU International Research Staff Exchange Scheme. The Project with the theme of Discrete element method and its application to geomechanics and geo-hazards, started in April, 2012 and will last four years. Funded by this project, seven staffs and students in this research group will start their short term visit at University of Warwick, Universidad Politecnica Catalunya and Universite Joseph Fourier - Grenoble 1/Grenoble – INP. Their study will focus on Micro and Macro mechanical behaviors of granular materials and numerical simulation and Stability analysis of rock slope and methane-hydrate dissociation induced landslide in deep sea.
