On Dec.22^nd, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) published the list of 2012 NSFC-JSPS Projects. One project of CCE named “Prediction of slope failure and debris flow triggered by earthquakes based on land observing satellite monitoring data” is among the list. This project is applied by Prof. Huang Yu, Department of Geotechnical Engineering, CCE and Prof. Atsushi Yashima, Gifu University, Japan. NSFC-JSPS projects are jointly funded by NSFC and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). In 2012, it will fund ten international cooperation projects and four bilateral seminars.
