On Nov. 16th, Prof. Li Yongsheng, Executive Vice President met with Prof. Eugene H. Levy, Provost of Rice University. Representatives from Colleges of Civil Engineering, Foreign Languages, Architecture and Urban Planning, Aerospace Engineering and Mechanic, Physics attended the meeting.

     Li recalled his visit to Rice and discussed with Prof. Levy about education and career development in the current economic situation. Prof. Levy stated that Rice University will enhance the cooperation with Asia and China and Tongji is one of their six partners in China. During the meeting, representatives from above mentioned colleges and schools discussed with Prof. Levy about some cooperation possibilities like Dual Degree Program, faculty training and collaborative research.
