On July 21^st, 2017, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Balthasar Novak, and Dr. Heiko Richter, Director of International Affairs from University of Stuttgart visited College of Civil Engineering (CCE), Tongji University. On behalf of Tongji University, Prof. Jiang Huanjun, Deputy Dean of CCE, Associate professor Dai Kaoshan, Assistant Dean and Ms. Shen Jiajun attended the meeting.

First, Dr. JIANG Huanjun expressed warm welcome to the delegates. Later, both sides introduced the development of their colleges in recent years and discussed possible ways of cooperation. In the afternoon, Pro. Mark Prof. Novak also held a public talk entitled Euro codes for structural design: An introduction into safety concept, loads and design of concrete structures at B203, building of civil engineering. Later, the delegates visited the Shaking table and wind tunnel labs.
