On March 8, 2016, the College of Civil Engineering (CCE) received a group of delegates from the Bauhaus-University Weimar including Rector Prof. Karl Beucke, Prof. Bernd Rudolf (Dean of faculty of architecture at Bauhaus-University Weimar), Prof. Horst-Michael Ludwig (Director of  the F.A. Finger-Institute), Dr. Chrisitan Kaestner (Director of International Office). On behalf of CCE, Deputy Dean Prof. HUANG Hongwei, Prof. GE Yaojun, Dr. LIU Fang, Ms. XU Xin met the delegates and discussed the possibility to further deepen the cooperation between Tongji University and the Bauhaus-University Weimar. Rector Prof. Karl Beucke expressed his interests and wish to strengthen the tie between the two universities by developing dual degree undergrad and graduate programs under the existing umbrella of MOU.
