On May 7th, the University Executive Vice-President Li Yongsheng met with Alan   Henry Dodson, Vice-President of University of Nottingham and awarded him   the appointment letter of Tongji Consulting professor on behalf of the   University. Prof. Dodson maintained close cooperation with Tongji   University in the field of measurement. The two sides exchanged ideas of   intent for cooperation in the future. Experts and professors from Civil   Engineering College and Transportation College were also present at the   meeting.

  In the afternoon, Prof. Dodson made an academic report for teachers   and students in Civil Engineering College. Then, the guest visited   Medical College and communicated about the future cooperation in the   field of Chinese medical science.
