On June 11st and 13rd, Prof. Chong-Shien Tsai and Prof. Liao Qingbiao led a delegation from Department of Civil Engineering, Feng Chia University, Taiwan, to visit Research Institute of Structural Engineering and Disaster Reduction in Civil Engineering and Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tongji University. The delegation had meetings with Prof. Hongwei Huang, Vice Dean of the College of Civil Engineering, Prof. Xilin Lu, Head of the Research Institute, and Prof. Zhou Nianqing, Vice Head of Hydraulic Engineering individually. Views on Joint training of undergraduate and graduate students, academic exchanges, student/teacher exchange programmes were deeply exchanged laid the foundation of further cooperation.
