Prof. Dimitri Beskos from the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Patras held two lectures entitled “Modal Strength Reduction Factors for the Seismic Design of Plane Steel Structures” and “A Hybrid Force/Displacement Seismic Design Method for Steel Building Frames” on Oct. 19^th and Oct. 20^th respectively. Prof. Qian Jiang hosted the two lectures.
